Geopolitical Focus – April 2023
Who is running the world?
Is it the WEF with the
Young Global Leaders,
the G7(8), the
G20, or the UN? Or is it Soros and the left-founded activist groups, or an adaptive EU, American
plutocracy consisting of Wall Street, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity groups active in ESG and DE&I? All of these entities are part of a global governance system that promotes self-interest under the guise of saving the world, but it actually divides the world, as one WEF critique phrase puts it, into the
elite, the workers, and the useless eaters!
While all of the aforementioned groups, including religious leaders, are becoming part of moralizing and behavioral institutions, they are not fundamental traits of Western societies and their values. Instead, they create a substitute for religion that itself creates their values as if they were God's. Never mind the comparison. Yes, technology and science allow us to replicate a lot, and religion has not always served its purpose. However, people are moralizing on good or bad. Will that bring us to advancement or tribal activism? As much as we want to make everyone equal, perhaps we should develop and agree upon a manifesto that all of the aforementioned institutions can support, which would serve a better plan than the Paris Climate Accord, which is a dislodged agreement of no consequence.
What is the US supposed to teach the world? According to some individuals with on-the-ground knowledge of Russia, Putin has an approval rating of 80%, and Russians have a better life under his administration than previous ones. However, failed global policies and an overly aggressive NATO provoke wars. One might wonder what purpose NATO serves other than being a puppet for the US and the EU. For more information, one can check the original mission of NATO:
NATO is a collective security system: its independent member states agree to defend each other against attacks by third parties. During the Cold War, NATO operated as a check on the threat posed by the Soviet Union. The alliance remained in place after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact, and has been involved in military operations in the Balkans, the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. The organization's motto is animus in consulendo liber[5] (Latin for "a mind unfettered in deliberation")
Note that when the Berlin Wall came down, all Russian troops stationed in the GDR went home to Russia. However, the US stayed, and under the then-leadership of war hawk Bush senior, NATO began its eastward expansion without pursuing an integration policy. Instead, they promoted Russia phobia or the idea that communism is bad, all while opening the flood gates to China. So, what is the world's next move to create peace?
After the US sold out to China, thanks to the elites' profit-making, it appears that the same people now fear for our national security and prepare for potential wars. On the other side, we use Ukraine as a proxy, with European consent and support, to fight a war against Russia all in the name of defending democracy or claiming global superiority. Meanwhile, the Chinese work around the world with diplomacy, India is more interested in Russia's cheap oil, and the West is invested in woke culture, green no-plan investments, and fighting wars.
Most impressively, the leading draft dodgers in Germany in the 1960s and 1970s are now the heads of the Green Party and the loudest voices for war support in Ukraine, claiming moral grounds, portraying Putin as evil, and Zelinski as an angel, ignoring all history of the Minsk agreement and NATO expansion. Biden, a Catholic, must have special permission from the Pope to engage in wars over peace talks.
That brings us back to the beginning. Everyone talks of a restart and an optimal world, but all are quiet on the wars. They adopt useless sanctions and dream that Russia will disappear. Perhaps we should start with ending special interests in US politics and Ukraine, where there is more interest in silencing opposition than in Russia. Unless there is a real interest in occupying Siberia, which would make strategic sense to invade China and hit Russia from the rear, posting rockets and artillery in Ukraine does not prevent Russia from cooperating with China and India, which represent 40% of the world's population and combined strongest economic power.
And if all goes south, Germany will no longer be a partner with China, but form a superpower with the US. Is that why Mrs. Baerbock and Macron recently visited China, to bully Xi? Well, China still sits comfortably on global resources in Africa and South America, despite Western news outlet propaganda.
